Final Step. Remains are Cremated & Returned to the Family at NO COST.
If you have made your wishes known and pre-registered, then nothing else is necessary. A representative from Life Science Anatomical will go through a medical and social interview with the next-of-kin to determine if your donation can be accepted into the program. When death occurs, a local funeral home will make the removal from the place of death. The donor is tested for infectious disease. If results are negative, tissues are then matched with educational facilities. After the procurement is completed, the remains are cremated at a licensed crematory and are returned to the family, if they choose, at NO COST.
